Бор считается перспективным элементом для хранения водорода в виде его соединений с водородом, или гидридов бора (боранов, бороводородов), и его наноструктурных форм. Бор также применяется в качестве добавки в никель-металлогидридных аккумуляторах для улучшения совместимости водорода и рабочих характеристик. В настоящей статье в общих чертах представлено краткое описание технологии хранения водорода и более подробно рассмотрены возможные варианты использования в них бора и его соединений.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This work is a survey of utilization of boron for hydrogen storage. Boron is a promising element for hydrogen storage with its chemical hydrides and nanostructural forms. It is also used as an additive in nickel metal hydride battery systems to enhance hydrogen compatibility and performance.
