Abstract
In the article, the problems of the traditional energy sector and the prospects associate with the use of hydrogen as an energy source. The article places the hydrogen energy and systems of energy supply based on hydrogen fuel cells in the structure of the Russian energy sector. Moreover, it formulates the proposals for improving the strategic management of the hydrogen energy and the introduction of public instruments to stimulate the application of hydrogen fuel and fuel elements for power supply in various industries and areas of management.
