RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING OF SOLAR COLLECTOR

Abstract

The article presents the results of studies of structural elements of solar collectors (SC), the formulas for the determination of heat transfer coefficients of transparent insulation (glass), the bottom of the case, the side walls of the case, the efficiency of the absorber. It was found that to improve the efficiency of heat transfer from fluid to tubes by up to 18% is sufficient to perform knurling on the tubes. The analytical dependence of the coefficients of hydraulic resistance, of Re criterion and design characteristics are presented. SC prototype was designed, manufactured and tested with optimal energy performance.
