Abstract
The paper describes the rotor rotation speed control device for vertical axis wind turbines, which are becoming more distributed due to the bunch of advantages comparing with the horizontal-axis turbines. The device operation is based on the principle of transmitting the forces from centrifugal clutch on the braking mechanism and allows the limiting of maximal rotation speed of the rotor when exceeding the determined maximal wind speeds. To prevent the destruction of rotor or burning the alternator at high wind speeds (from 15-20 m/s), the equipping of wind turbines with the said control systems, is required. The paper also provides a method of calculating the dynamic development of the main components of the device.

Abstract
The paper describes the analysis of life time cycle of the wind turbine on the example of big wind aggregate of a megawatt class. Electric energy consumption, heat and gases emissions into atmosphere are typical while fabrication and utilizing the wind turbines. Thus it’s necessary to understand the appropriateness of wind turbine production and make a comparison analysis of negative impact on the environment and energy volume produced by the turbine during the operation period being the alternative of traditional generation results.

Abstract
The article describes a method for estimation of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous generators with segment magnets and trapezoid coils based on charts calculated with special program developed at the Department of Electromechanics and Electromechanical systems of South Ural State University. Variables describing the dimensions of motor are outer and inner diameters, height of coils and magnets, number of pole pairs. Other parameters depend on the main parameters or to be determined by fabrication technology. Developed method of estimation provides accelerated evaluation of axial motor design which decreases the development time.

Abstract
It was defined the scheme of connection between the wind turbines in wind farm based on the analysis of area’s wind potential. It was constructed the model of the wind farm in the software package MATLAB, obtained characteristics of the group of wind turbines at the same and at different wind speeds. It was draw conclusions about the system activity.

Abstract
The article provides a systematization of the factors affecting the hydraulic ram productivity, analytic dependence of the hydraulic ram productivity from hydraulic ram installation parameters, diagram of the experimental installation, methodology and results of experiments to determine the maximum productivity of the hydraulic ram and coefficients of hydraulic resistance of the supply tube and the shock valve node. Based on the processing of the experimental results it is concluded eligibility application of analytical dependence of hydraulic ram productivity for selection, designing and creating new hydraulic ram constructions. In conclusion, the calculation table of the hydraulic ram parameters for maximum productivity and power is provided.
