Solar energy

12-24 1099
Abstract

The work is devoted to assessment of solar energy resources for the territory of Moscow. The authors consider the various sources of input data on the incoming solar radiation - the long-term ground-based measurements and spe cialized data bases (NASA POWER). Verification of the NASA POWER data on the base of observations of weather stations in the Moscow region should justify its use under the calculation of resources and performance prediction of solar power plants. The work shows and discusses the results of calculations of solar energy potential on this territory.

Abstract
The novel brownmillerite-type Cl-contained compound Ba195In2O4.9Cl0.1 was synthesized, and its structure, hydration processes, electrical properties were investigated. It was found that the Cl-doping of oxygen sublattice in Ba2In2O5 led to the replacement of the mixed ionic-hole conductivity to oxygen-ionic conductivity. The anionic heterovalent doping (F-, Cl-) of perovskite-related matrix led to the improvement of chemical stability against CO2 and wet vapor.

Abstract

The fluorine-substituted double perovskites Ba2CaNbO5.5-0.5xFx and brownmillerites Ba2In2O5-0.5xFx were synthesized, the crystalline structure have been investigated. The major form of protons was energetically unequal ОН¯-groups for both phases with double perovskite and brownmillerite structures. The increasing of dopant concentration led to decreasing of part of OH_-groups involved in strong hydrogen bonds.

Abstract
The method for measuring the electrical resistance of films is employed to investigate the kinetics of the interaction between hydrogen and relatively thick (10-45 microns) films of Pd-Ag and Pd-In-Ru alloys, used as membrane materials in processes for producing hydrogen of high purity and manufactured by rolling method with high degrees of deformation at room temperature. Based on the previously established equilibrium and kinetic parameters of hydrogen interaction with the Pd alloy films which strongly depend on the microstructure during the initial stages of the film growth (the grain size, the width of the grain boundary regions and others.), we have shown that the solubility of hydrogen in these alloys increases at room temperature with increasing temperature of annealing the rolled alloy while the diffusion mobility of hydrogen in the Pd-Ag alloys is virtually independent of annealing temperature and in the Pd-In-Ru alloys it significantly reduces with the increasing of annealing temperature. These above regularities are associated with features of the microstructure formed during the annealing of rolled alloys.

Abstract
The paper deals with the sources of high speed bodies and particles of the natural and artificial origin which are dangerous for the spacecraft operation. The paper presents the parameters of certain groups of the meteoric particles and the sources space debris. The following ways allow the spacecrafts to avoid collision with space debris: change of spacecraft orbit, and optimal protection of the spacecraft surface. An actual problem of creation of the spacecraft protection for spacecraft operating on the near Earth orbit for a long time includes development of the algorithms and software for the optimization of spacecraft screen protection and reduce mass. Development of the algorithms and software for the spacecraft multiunit protection solves the problem of optimization of spacecraft surface screen multi-unit protection for basic models as cube and cylinder (in the algorithmic languages of Fortran and BUILDER-4) by the method of dynamic programming with Pareto sets. Moreover, we developed the visualization programs of the optimization results and the utilities that provide interface of the calculating programs and databases in Windows environment. The programs include plotting, providing the calculation clearness.

Abstract
The paper deals with the processes of producing materials with new electrochemical properties by ion implantation method. Both the positive and negative processes accompanied implantation are considered. The paper generalizes the promising examples of the use of ion implantation method for improving the corrosion resistance and activity of electrocatalysts.
