Since 2004, the Institute of Renewable Energy, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the post of Deputy Director for Scientific Matters.
Publications: Total number of 282, including 5 monographs, 17 patents.
Scientific and practical results of Ryeztsov V.F. were marked by Victor Yanukovych of premium NASU named by academician F. Prosphor for research in the field of solar energy.

Main scientific achievements:
Since 1987, V.F. Ryeztsov working in the field of renewable energy, which focuses on the development of the theory of energy conversion processes based on ideas of synergy, which makes it possible to describe the dynamics of the various physical nature from a unified methodological positions.
In this direction, V.F. Ryeztsov together with colleagues and co-workers developed a theory of non-linear form of spatially inhomogeneous structures in such a nonlinearly related processes such as the propagation of electromagnetic waves (optical radiation) + hydrodynamics of thermal conductivity+ thermal conductivity of the transfer of charges of different signs in low-temperature plasma, semiconductors and electrolytes; + diffusion thermal conductivity; nonlinear elasticity + thermal conductivity of electrothermics elasticity; unbalanced heat mass transfer of relaxation type.
For all these processes taking place in the various elements of power equipment and a variety of unconventional energy conversion processes, this generalization of the fundamental physical properties (or irreversibility) and reciprocity (or non-reciprocity).
Sphere of scientific activity V.F. Ryeztsov is renewable energy, which focuses on the development of the theory of energy conversion processes based on the ideas of synergy, which makes it possible to describe the dynamics of the various physical nature from a unified methodological positions.
The main results of scientific work of corresponding member V.F. Ryeztsova, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine:
- On the basis of order execution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine " National Plan of Renewable Energy for the period up to 2020» №902-P from 10.01.2014. It was carried out correction of technically achievable energy potential of renewable sources of various kinds in Ukraine on the basis of which is created set of road maps on renewable energy development up to 2020, which define best practices for the implementation of the National action plan;
In approach of ambipolar diffusion made the transition from a system of electric mass transfer equations in the volume photovoltaic and electrochemical converters to a quasilinear equation of parabolic type, for which on the basis of synergetic methodology analyzed the conditions of formation of a spatially inhomogeneous distribution of electric charges;
- An analysis of the characteristics of electro-state photobatteries and solar collectors are designed and experimentally tested new technical solutions for the construction and mode of functioning of combined photothermal modules for simultaneous generation of electricity and heat;
- On the basis of use the divergence theorem developed a method of transition from the local to the integral description of the transport processes of heat and diffusion in the elements of systems with renewable energy sources of various kinds, which are determined by the process parameters, averaged over volume. The method allows to link distributed in the space parameters of the process with considering synergistic mechanism of formation of spatially inhomogeneous structures of lumped parameters;
As a result, full-scale experimental studies of the processes of heating surfaces of standard and experimental samples photobatteries in real climatic conditions of Kyiv found that their surface temperature in summer reaches 65-700 C. These results are consistent with the calculated and allowed to justify the need and feasibility of use cooling photobatteries active surfaces in order to increase the energy conversion efficiency of solar radiation into electricity with simultaneous production of heat energy.
V.F. Ryeztsov actively participates in international cooperation of scientists in the field of renewable energy.
