Abstract
The article provides an overview of developments on the creation of self-oscillating wave installations of energy conversion of moving flow. The principles of their work and their advantages are described. The issues of ecological efficiency of wave wind turbines are considered.

HYDROGEN ECONOMY

Abstract
In this work we consider technical characteristics, operating conditions, advantages and disadvantages of various types of emergency backup systems. The systems based on air-hydrogen fuel cells are shown to be most effective, especially when used in remote telecommunication stations. Medium-term forecasts in the area are presented including considerations of the general trends in fuel cells production volume and prices, hydrogen generation, storage, and delivery. Prices for fuel cell based on backup systems of 1-5 kW power are shown to diminish in the nearest 3-5 years to $ 3000-10000, depending on system power and energy.

Abstract
Various options of the mechanisms of fixing of molecular nitrogen were examined in the presence of a supramolecular complex of the C60 fullerene with γ-cyclodextrin in the electrolysis process in this paper. It is shown that neither the fullerene nor its lower hydrides that can be formed under the experimental conditions in different charge and spin states are not able to directly connect molecular nitrogen.

ENERGY AND ECOLOGY

Abstract
Based on a physical model of vapor condensation in parallel channels air condensing unit (WCU) a computer program was developed that reveals areas of insufficient efficacy. Experimental tests of the model and full-scale models UWC confirming estimates were held. Temperature field of finned heat exchange surface were obtained with optical pyrometer and thermal.

Abstract
The reliability prediction model of complicated engineering system (CES) was analyzed on different stage of its life-cycle: designing, testing and exploitation. The analytical model was suggested for parameters estimation of maintenance work (MW). It helps obtain a different character of reliability changing. The failure rate growth inside testing cycle leads to the rule of senescent type, which corresponds to exploitation stage. The failure rate decreasing leads to the “burnout” failure model, which corresponds to a testing stage. The numerical evaluation method of maintenance work model parameters was suggested according to the results of full-scale test. The presented algorithm allows to forecast maintenance work parameters for different applications in wide range of given data. The effectiveness increase procedures of maintenance work operation inspection was given with a view to ensuring high index of reliability and safety in complicated engineering system exploitation.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY METHODS AND FACILITIES FOR AGRESSIVE GAS MIXTURE SEPARATION AND PURIFICATION

56-76 834
Abstract
The sorptive technologies of coke-oven gas purification from hydrogen sulfide are considered. The flow charts of the methods are presented. Operation conditions of those methods are described. Various types of industrially available adsorbents are examined and their properties are depicted.

Abstract
The electro induction method for power supply of mobile units is proposed. This method is designed to transmit electrical energy to mobile unit. The description of the contactless receiving/transmitting device is presented. This device contains frequency converter, step-up high-frequency resonant transformer, energy transmission line located inside the roadbed on which the electrical unit moves, and energy receiving system for the mobile unit. The analysis of the test results of the device model sample is presented. The reactive electromagnetic field generated by the supply electroinduction system works as a translator of energy in the developed electrical energy transmission method. The application of the contactless electrical energy transmission for mobile units will permit to remove the costs of the contact circuits installation or the costs of the special drums for cable receiving, as well as to ensure high reliability and to decrease negative influence of vehicles on the environment.
